FAQs

What are your earrings made of?

TMM earrings are made from non-toxic polymer clay. The designs are made from hand mixed clay, cut to shape, cured, sanded and finished with care. Some earrings are hand painted, drawn, screen printed or coated in resin for that extra pop!

​I only use surgical stainless steel stud posts for our earrings unless otherwise stated. All maxi and mega earrings come with a comfort stud back to avoid the earring drooping. Mini and midi earrings come with a small, rubber stud back. These choices ensure all day comfort.

 

How do I look after my earrings?

Although polymer clay is strong, it still needs to be cared for correctly. Pieces can be easily broken with improper use and storage. The best way to keep your earrings is to store them in a dry cool place. Dangles should preferably be kept hanging to avoid them being knocked around and easily broken or lost.

Clean your earrings using a damp cloth to wipe in-between wears. If you find there are marks that don't come off, you can use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad and wipe sparingly to remove the mark. Do NOT do this on earrings that have foil on them as the alcohol may remove it.​

Avoid showering or swimming while wearing your earrings and keep them away from perfumes or harsh chemicals.

 

How long before my earrings arrive?

All purchases will be parcelled in boxes and sent at Australia Post parcel rates. Once your purchase is packed and posted, an Australia Post tracking number will be attached to your order and sent directly to the email address you entered at the time of ordering. Please allow a 3-5 business days for your order to be packaged and dispatched from TMM HQ and then a minimum of 3 business days for it to arrive.

Postage timelines with Australia Post vary between locations in Australia. Use the tracking number on the AusPost website to track your orders progress!
